Haven't done food tastings in a while thanks to my busy routine but this one is an experience worth mentioning. Took my Maa-Bauji for a review and had the most amazing experience! Turban Tales outdo themselves in terms of hospitality, ambience and food. If the name itself doesn't give you an idea, the restaurant is themed around a highway side dhaba you'd find in Punjab. With tractor tables, brass buckets and bangles as decor, the very vibe of the place is very Indian. And being as desi as I am, I ABSOLUTELY loved the fact that there was Bollywood music playing! Coming to the food, this is a must go-to place if you are looking for a fresh change of scenery. Set right on the curve of JVLR, in Powai the menu is not heavy on the pocket and everything, literally EVERYTHING tastes really amazing. While the Khasta roll melts in your mouth, the Indian styled momos are so unique! My favourite is the Jamun Cheesecake though. Definitely coming back here for some chilling! :)
In the new city where you don't know anyone and miss your homemade food, so Turban Tales is the best place to sit and have great food in Mumbai.
